STRUCTURE & GEAR

300156141_479131447000231_2620927698308781550_n-PhotoRoom.png

Taiga is organized into one or two squads, each comprising up to ten players. Every squad follows the same structure and operates in a similar manner. Within each squad, there are two fire teams: one focused on assault and the other on support. A squad leader oversees the squad, ensuring coordination and effectiveness. Each player is assigned a specific role within the squad, which they maintain throughout the season, ensuring consistency and specialization in their responsibilities.

Taiga is a "light impression" team inspired by Russian SSO units, since the end of 2024. This means we aim to replicate the general look and feel of their gear and weapons. However, we don't prioritize having exact "real steel" authenticity or 100% accuracy in details like pouches or weapon accessories. Our main goal is to create a recognizable impression of SSO and maintain a clear association with their style, which we consider sufficient.
However, we have clear rules for our members regarding the gear, camouflage patterns, and weapons that are permitted. These guidelines are designed not only to maintain the impression of SSO but also to ensure that we function as effectively as possible as a team.

As a member Taiga you are expected to be able to live off your pack, and carry all your equipment with you durings Milsim events. This no matter what organizer or event design there is. We make our own experience within each event, and we strive to push our limits at each and everyone.

Off the field, the team is organized with a team leader and a management group. Decisions are made through management meetings and team meetings.
Taiga is not souly a Airsoft team. We are a team off the field and we do other non airsoft activites as well. We are more than airsofters, we want to be a positive force in each other lifes off the field and push our limits to be better in other aspects.

JOIN TAIGA

Taiga welcomes applicants of all experience levels and equipment setups. To begin, you’ll have a conversation with a team leader to discuss your background, goals, and reasons for wanting to join. This step ensures mutual understanding: that you align with Taiga’s values and that both you and the team are a good fit for each other.

If the discussion goes well, you’ll be invited to a team activity where we can meet you in person. If the positive impression continues, you’ll be granted the status of Recruit.

As a recruit, you’ll be treated as a regular team member, but on a trial basis. We expect recruits to prove their suitability by showing attentiveness, responsibility, and reliability. This is your opportunity to demonstrate that you deserve a permanent spot on the team—not through words but through actions and commitment.

You won’t need to invest in specific equipment until your first major MILSIM event, so there’s no pressure to make immediate purchases.

Recruitment Period: 6–12 months.

During this time, you’ll participate in activities like training, one-day games, MILSIM events, and social engagements within the team.

We’re not looking for highly skilled players—we can teach you tactical and field craft aspects. Instead, we value individuals who embody Taiga’s vision, uphold its values, and display humility, a willingness to listen, and determination to grow.
